more Fisheye Lens pics
I think I had mentioned that Pete surprised me with a Fisheye Lens for my camera this year on my birthday. So sweet of him!
I snapped some shots in Boston a few weeks ago when I was trying out the lens:
twins.
some photos of our friends adorable twins – Jack & Maddie. These were taken on the beach in Rockport, MA over Labor Day weekend.
viva Las Vegas
our friends stole away earlier this summer with a few friends & family for an awesome Vegas wedding. They got married in the “little white Wedding Chapel” (literally). We all watched it stream live on the Internet. SO AWESOME.
This weekend they had a BBQ to celebrate. We attended & I got to snap a few pics. This one of the gift table is my fave. (note the new FISH EYE LENS) from my wonderful husband!!
Slip & Slide fun.
this photo just screams SUMMER. Love that smile on Matthew’s face.
the lighting on this pic was really tough – it was a mix of shade & sun in the yard so I had a hard time adjusting my white balance & shutter speeds. It does look a tad blue – but I’m still pleased with how it turned out.
more practice w/ Photoshop
remember this pic of Lara from a few weeks back? Total cutie – but she had a little rash on her face that was still clearing up. She also looked like she might have had something cheesy for lunch that day, as there was a bit left on her sweet little nose. Hehehehehe
Anyway, I used photoshop to clean up the skin just a bit. Here is the before pic:

And here is the pic after I cleaned it up a bit:
Love that face & those cheeks. SO CUTE.
New England Aquarium.
It was super challenging to get decent pics in the low light – but I was able to use my 50mm lens & open it all the way up to get some decent shots. I LOVE the way these came out.
We had a great weekend w/ the kiddos.
